The Junior League of Madison in partnership with Klinke Cleaners is proud to host its 13th annual All Dressed Up event on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Madison College - Truax Campus.
The Junior League of Madison seeks to empower women to make a difference in their communities through direct service to those in need. We are a 100% volunteer organization that focuses on causes that promote healthy kids and healthy families through education and service.
Each year, Junior League of Madison hosts All Dressed Up, a free event where area high school girls are given an opportunity to “shop” for a free prom dress and accessories provided from donations within our community. Many of the girls may not otherwise have a chance to attend their prom due to financial limitations.
According to Junior League All Dressed Up Chair Kristi Looze, this event shows the generosity of the greater Madison community. “We are very grateful for all of our volunteers who make this event possible. Their donations of dresses, shoes, accessories, and time empower over 300 Madison-area young women to attend prom despite their financial circumstances.”
Attendance is free but girls need to register on Eventbrite.
Mark your calendars: Registration begins Febuary 11th!
In addition to Klinke Cleaners, the Madison Sewing Guild generously donates their time, MATC donates the space, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK donates moving services, Celebrations Entertainment provides our DJ services, and dozens of area women work as “celebrity shoppers” to help the girls select dresses.
