What we do

Every year, the Junior League of Madison serves hundreds of area families by developing and supporting responsive, effective programs that empower women to make a difference in the lives of those around them. Through building coalitions and raising funds, our signature programs address the physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth needs of women and children.

While improving our communities, we are also helping our members grow - personally and professionally. Junior League of Madison members learn to be effective, professional community volunteers, develop valuable friendships and find personal fulfillment. As a result, members become long-term contributors to our community.

New Member Open Houses will be held on August 10th and 18th.

Support our work

We invite you to support our work through purchasing Mad About Food - our cookbook featuring hundreds of recipes and tips from Madison-area chefs; and attending our annual fund raisers - Dining for a Difference and the Bowling Ball.

Junior League of Madison is proud to work with several corporate sponsors in our area. Your organization may wish to support us through an in-kind gift or financial sponsorship.

20 Years!

Prom Dress Success!

At the 6th Annual All Dressed Up event approximately 375 girls had the opportunity to find the prom dress of their dreams. Thanks to our members and partner organizations for making the day a huge success!  A special thanks to Klinke Cleaners, who cleaned over 1,200 newly donated dresses, Two Men and a Truck who transported dresses and racks to our new Madison Area Technical College location. Volunteers were provided by our friends at the UW Pan-Hellenic Association, Madison Sewing Guild and Girl Scout Troop 1012.

Here are a few comments from our attendees:

"I think this was very helpful and it was a blast for me and my friends and I want to thank you all for everything."

"Thanks so much for your gracious efforts to make my prom a success!"

"Very good organization.  Wonderful staff, very empathetic."
